The From the Depths Foundation honored Poles who saved Jews during the Second World War

For the third time, the From the Depths Foundation awarded Distinctions to the Righteous named after Edward Mosberg, for Poles who saved Jews during the World War II. This year were posthumously honored: the deputy president of occupied Warsaw and friend of Stefan Starzyński, Julian Spitosław Kulski, his wife – Eugenia Kulska (Solecka) Kulska and her sister, Zofia Zembrzuska (Solecka). The ceremony was attended by the patron of the award Edward Mosberg, with whom we had the great honor to talk.

Edward Mosberg is a Jew born in Krakow who survived the Holocaust. He was a prisoner of many concentration camps, he was, among others, in Płaszów and Mauthausen. For years, he has been contributing to the promotion of Holocaust education around the world. During the ceremony, took place the European premiere of the film „Destination Unknown”, depicting the story of Edward Mosberg.
